Go away Clancy, you are NOT taking my place. I would rather take the wife.

Hi Fans,
Thanks for all your recomendations and interest shown. The big problem was always the age. up to 69 and in some cases no more than 75. I am 76 and got no chance. Also limited to a maximum of 31 days.
except by paying some major financial charges.
.
.
.
I have just got, a few minutes ago, Travel Insurance for my trip of 54 days around the planet.
It has cost me £115 for the two of us and can take as many trips as I want during the next 12 months up to 54 days at a time.
I joined Royal Bank of Scotland Royalties Gold last week and I pay £12 95p a month for a lot of benefits including free travel Insurance world wide up to 31 days with an extra charge for being over 70 and over the 31 days ie 54. Home emergency insurance etc car break down recovery and many other benefits, so it is a good deal.
Thank you all again for all your help.
Cheers
Brian.

Just wondering if there is a way of getting travel health insurance through the Legion or other military establishments.
Aren't the MN recognised now as part of the armed forces in the UK?
