Michael Collinson RIP
Thank you for your birthday wishes for Michael. Sadly, Mike passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly on 3 July 2022.
Kind regards Judi Collinson.
Michael Joined BP in April 1965 as Radio Officer, one of the first direct employ, not Marconi.
Sailed on 'British Venture' and 'British Courage'.
Left BP in 1967 and joined Ferranti in Edinburgh working on Harrier 'Jump Jet' and
Phantom avionics before moving to Microwave communication. Lecturer at
Leith Nautical College, Edinburgh before emigrating to Australia in 1979.
