Loss of a friend of 70 years
It is with great sadness I’ve learned of the passing of Barrie (Jim) Parker who died yesterday after a long illness.
We met and became firm friends whilst we were at the sea training school Indefatigable Anglesey in 1954.
Barrie lived in North Wales. He spent many years with Blue Funnel Line on the Far East run. My thoughts are with Pat his wife his son and daughter and his Grandchildren.
