    Default Jim Brady

I am very sorry to have to tell the membership that sadly Jim passed away in his sleep yesterday. I have just received the following E mail from his Granddaughter Hannah :-

    Hi Chris,

My name's Hannah, I'm Jim's granddaughter. I'm so sorry to be telling you this but thought I'd better reply to let you know that my granddad sadly passed away yesterday in his sleep. It's so lovely to see the number of emails he's received wondering where he is and asking how he is, it means so much.

Thanks again for your concern, I know he would've appreciated it.

    Take Care.

    Hannah

I am sure that Jim will be very sadly missed by us all, I will miss him a lot as we often exchanged E Mails and PM's on local maritime matters and other things. I especially liked his sense of 'Fair Play ' his sense of humour and his mischievousness. This site is a sadder place without him.

May you rest in peace Jim, with fair winds and calm seas that you so richly deserve.

    Your old mate Chris.

It is with great sadness that I read of Jim passing away. It was Jim that put my avatar on this website i.e. the crest of Everton FC. My deepest condolences to Jims wife and family.
    Sincere regards.

I have just awoken to this sad news on Jim's passing, what a terrible shock this is .
I and Terry (Scouse) had just recently swapped a few messages concerning Jim's welfare, and i had Emailed Jim twice over the past two Weeks ,to which i of course have had no replies, the reason now known why.

Jim and i had a good understanding of each other and we got on well . Like a few others i had sent hime a gift a while back with his Name ,Number etc engraved on a nice Beer Tankard.i hope that this will be kept in a nice place now he has left us!

Fair winds Jim,you will be missed here on site and i hope that those Fair winds will slowly and gently fill your sails and take you to the places you so well remembered.
I thank you for your Friendship ,be it only online ,and its a pity that we never got to meet.
My Sincere Condolences go out to all the Immediate Family and good Friends .
    Rest peaceably Jim Lad!
    With Respect
