Pride of place..
Thank you all for all your kind words.. it's comforting to know how much he will be missed by many. He really was an amazing man who I feel so lucky to have been given 30 years with.
On behalf of my family and I, thank you for all your emails and messages.
I'm sure Granddad would've appreciated every word.

Re: Jim Brady
Though now, the news received was a great shock to many,
all is new and hopefully, in time Hannah could remind us
more of Jim on certain occasions and assist us to further
celebrate his life.
I echo all condolences and will miss Jim.
Regards,
Keith.

Re: Jim Brady
I used to love what I called Jim's evaluation of a particular happening on site or in the media. He told it as it was, no frills no excuses, just the facts as he saw them, brilliant. The mission will miss him no doubt as he was a regular there and his obvious interest and compassion for visiting foreign and national crews was easy to see. The beer sales will suffer too I would think  - one of Liverpool's best and professional seamen gone to join the Lords crew, take care Jim, bon voyage.

Re: Jim Brady
Sad news indeed, Jim will be sorely missed on the site for his fair minded posts. Condolences to all his family. R.I.P. Jim.

At this time I post this on behalf of Ivan Cloherty .
Hell Vernon
I have just heard that Jim has passed away in his sleep. Sadnews as another stalwart passes to fiddlers green. I know Jim and I had ourdifferences on site, but in Liverpool we had a good laugh together. I don'tseem to be able to access the 'Crossed the Bar' on site, so please pass on mysincere condolences to his family
Kind regards
Ivan Cloherty.
I will be absent for a few days, meeting my Australian goddaughter in London, back on track late Monday
