Hi All.
I have been off line for a few days, imagine my shock when I logged on this morning and found that my old mate Alf had passed away. We used to pass emails to each other until he went into the home, Alf was a lovely bloke, I will remember him every day as the sticker he sent me is on the windscreen of my car, {MN The forgotten Service}and his photo is on my shelf.
My condolences to his family.
may he rest in peace, fair winds old mate.

Alf was before my time on this site and sadly I've never seen his post's, but after reading everyone's tribute's to him
it's easy to see what a popular and good bloke he was. No more pain, Rest In Peace Alf, God Bless.

He sent me half a dozen of the MN stickers and would not take anything for them, a generous man to be sure. His stories about his time as a truckie always brought a smile. RIP mate.
