Re: Alf Corbyn
Sad news to hear from a man who was via the net a very good friend. The banter was great and he had a great sense of humor.
Safe sailing on a calm sea mate until the day we all meet again at fiddlers Green.
Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.

Re: Alf Corbyn
Alf. I'm feeling very sad on hearing of your passing.I feel, like many here, that we've lost a good shipmate. We had many a good banter in those earlier years before illness got the better of you. I remember you also talking about your previous career driving lorries all over the country ,especially your memories of Shap Summit in pre-motorway days.I only had to mention a place and you knew it ! We never got to meet but I have good memories of your 'presence' on line. You would have been a great shipmate to sail with.
My sincere condolences to family and friends of Alf on such a sad loss.
Davey Gulliver
Maythe road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
May the rains fall softly upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.
