Allen Ford
I learned today that our friend and shipmate, Allen Ford has Crossed the Bar.
At the age 16 Allen went to Vindi, Sharpness, Catering dept., Going to sea on his first voyage on the Temple Hall.
Allen lived in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada and had suffered for some time from a disability from his time when working in the Hemlo Gold Mine.
Have a peaceful final voyage old friend.

Re: Allen Ford
The Temple Hall was also my last official deep sea ship. Believe I spoke to him sometime ago, but were years in between on her. Sorry to hear of his passing. Regards JWS
