    Default Peter James Jeffries

    Re Peter James Jeffries (2nd August 1927 – 18th July 2015)

With regret, I have to advise that Peter Jeffries died on the 18th July.
Peter’s membership application revealed that he sailed on 20 ships belonging to 18 differing companies between 1944 and 1955.
He joined NZSCo in 1955 and sailed on Otaki and later as Bosun on Huntingdon.
He ceased seafaring in 1960 and joined a Stevedoring firm working in Wellington, Port Chalmers and Auckland.

A notice appears in today’s NZ Herald.

His funeral is to be held at the Chapel of Forrest Funeral Services, 8 Glen Road, Browns Bay, Auckland at 10 am on Saturday 25th July.

    Regards
