A very sad day, to lose a friend like Lou is the worst thing.
Lou had made well over two thousand posts to this website, he will truly be very much missed.

May I extend my sincerest condolences to his family at this so sad time.

Have just got off the Phone to Brenda in NZ.
She has told me that all the ideas have been read and are of great help!
There will be pieces of most of them read out at the Service ,so most all that has been posted will be heard!

So that helps me too,as I can now just send my own thoughts along with these!
I will also however incorporate a few ideas given ! Thank you all once again!

Brenda has also said that they will be posting a Link to a Live FEED of the Funeral on the day,so hopefully all that want to can follow that ,a great idea so hope that it works for all!
Reminder that the Funeral is on Thursday the 4th at 3 PM New Zealand Time,so please do keep an Eye on the Time Differences!
    Cheers

    Such sad news.
Although I never met him he was of great assistance to me in compiling his account of the loss of Gloucester Castle and his subsequent imprisonment.
A very brave man I am sure we will all miss him

Back amongst old shipmates. Fair winds and calm seas Lou.
