Gerry Moulson
It is with great sadness that I hear of the loss of our shipmate and friend, Gerry Moulson.
Signed on NZSC “Haparangi”, in 1953/54.
Left British MN in 1957 last ship Royal Mail “Gasony.” Paid off in Jamaica, went on to NZ coast in 1957, 1st ship was the USSCO “Kokini”
1960 shipped on the West coast of Canada out of Vancouver. Did 1961 season on the Great Lakes, then more or less out of Vancouver until 1997.
Crossed the Bar October 29th 2014
Calm seas and a peaceful passage Gerry.

Re: Gerry Moulson
HI Brain.
Gerry went on the NZ coast the same time as me, memory fails me as to whether I knew him or not.
May he rest in peace and have calm seas.
Cheers D

Re: Gerry Moulson
Knew Gerry ,originally from Dartford ,very well. Though never Sailed with him,(other than ,on a motoring holiday together. We went Pompey to the I.O W. and the
Kingswear to Dartmouth Ferries. During his varied Sea career . Which spanned the better part of fifty, years.
To us that had the pleasure of his company. He was the Eternal Traveller. He could be found ,"Having a Drink "in Twin Towns Club, here in OZ .with perhaps, that well known seaman's identity. of the N.Z. Coast'the late "Pincher Martin. or often, during the ,Vindi Re-unions, at Sharpness enjoying conversation. In the Dockers Club. Or perhaps ,sitting ,sipping with his Fav. old Shipmate.'s a few Beers at a Table outside the Royal Oak,in the Harrow-on the Hill Mall.
I'm sure many of his Vancouver and Dartford colleagues, could add many more venues.
In short. "You Name it! ,He'd been there.
R.I.P.
