I was talking to Billy Chambers on Monday in the "Eight Bells" pub here in Dover. Billy is Harrys older brother and he told me the sad news. Billy has been in Dover for over 30 years and I remember Harry coming down to see him often. A good singer and guitar player, he will be sadly missed.

Hi, To any locals here in the Pool, Harry's funeral will be tomorrow (Friday) at St Phelomena's, just off the East Lancashire Road, at 12 noon. What a turn out that will be. The Melrose will never be the same again without H. Goodnight mate. jd in Lp.
