Am feeling shocked and saddened to learn of Tony's passing. As Vernon has rightly said, I think his interesting comment, forthrightness and decency will be greatly missed by his fellow shipmates on this site. My sincere condolences go to Annie and his friends in Cebu and also to Paul and family.

that is such sad news, and my condolences to the family. I felt we all knew Tony as a person, and most of us never met him only via his postings, which was enjoyed by all. , God bless Tony and the family, and thank you to Vernon for tracing this very sad information, regards to all Keith Tindell

It made me think how he built up from the e days of an of an existence in Southend to a new , slightly exciting New World in Cebu , with Annie , the savings that he was making to enable a vehicle purchase , how he talked with affection and joy about his new life , I think his latter days were thoroughly happy ones , I shall certainly raise a glass to Tony , and pray that Annie is managing alright , Tony Wilding , May you Rest in Peace
