My shipmate and Lauries "Patsy" 78 yrs old R 590317 crossed the bar, and he had a very well attended funeral he was a very popular gentleman and a great family man he was at sea for a number of years, some of his ships Queen Elisabeth, Kenya Castle,B.P. tankers baron, engineer, workman, Thalpus 3 years on that one, wavebaron , Denby grange and many more, When he came ashore he was a landlord of a few pubs in cardiff, The Mitre,The city arms, The Adamsdown, and a few others many of his ex customers came to his funeral he was a great landlord and friend, to many some are now famous in Cardiff, all had good things to say about him. Lifes storms are over you suffer no more you ve dropped the anchor on a peaceful shore untill we meet again R.I.P. shipmate.
