Just to let his mates know; Jeff Wheate passed away November 2002. He completed Sea Training School, Sharpness in '51 and his first ship was the Pretoria Castle. He was last on the Ocean Monarch before she was scrapped.

As said its always sad to hear of someones passing,and more so when it involves a bit of you!
Although he has been gone for some time,i am sure he will never be forgotten!
