    Unhappy Condolences

Although I did not know or sail with Billy, it is always sad to lose a "shipmate", especially at such a young age. My sincere condolences and sympathy to his wife and family.

Heartfelt thanks to you all for your sympathy and words of comfort. Billys final trip will take place on a date very dear to his heart, 23rd april, St. Georges Day. His ashes will be freed from a ferry on his beloved Mersey, his home port. The next day is our 24th wedding anniversary and the day after Billy will be 52.

The top sails shivered in the wind,
The ship she bound to sea,
But our hearts, our souls, our minds,
    Are moored forever with thee.

    Loved and longed for always,
Your wifey Net and daughter Neeve.

Condolences to Billy's family and friends. It is always sad to hear of the death of a shipmate at such a young age. I didn't know you Billy but as your old mate John Rees said, Calm seas and a Fair wind.

    Regards, Alec.
