Hi there James I joined the Wharanui on her maiden voyage out of John Brown's shipyard on the 24th September 1956
and paid off in New York on the16th January 1968, and came home as passenger on the Queen Mary.The Wharanui was one of the best vessels I have worked on. I hope your time aboard her was as happy as mine. Also the trip home on the Queen Mary was quite an experiance.
