    Hi Michael.
    Welcome to the site hope you enjoy all there is to peruse. I was on a tanker in Rotterdam when three of my mates were gassed down below they were lucky spent some time in hospital in the ward near the morgue as they weren't expected to survive, so I see your pain even after all those years.

    Dear Michael:

    I note your Texaco experience. I wonder do you know anything about a fire/power failure on the Southampton in 1975? The ship was towed into Sydney and a contested salvage claim followed.

    It is good that you still remember your lost shipmates after the pump room disaster on the Spain
