I was amazed to see the photo on this website of the Ash after our battering when she pooped one off the Grand Banks.
I was Ch Off that trip, in fact from August 68 until she was sold in Nov 69.
I was not aware that there were any photos of the damage and, if possible, Perhaps I could get a copy of it off you. When I have downloaded the picture it is not too clear.

I am searching for Timothy Ridge. He would have just passed his First Officer exams in 1963-64. He was on a ship at the time on the Karachi run. I can't remember the line I think it was something like McKinnon and ? I know it is a long shot in finding him but I am a very optimistic person.

Hiya Mike,
Not forgot the photo of the Beaverash when the lifeboat smashed. I have looked for it and remembered I gave it to Ernie. He was the Bosun on the Beaverash at the time of the storm. He lives in Hawarden, I payed him a visit 2 years ago.
I will give him a call and get my photos off him. I also see the Carpenter in Wallasey Village, he is Dennis Wiggins. It's a small world eh?
