hi cappy # 23
i thought with you doing the gardening you may have been spending too much time in your shed, hence the talk of fanny, but now that you have cleared that one up, have you tried rubbing your stick with saddle soap, as its known not only moisten but brings out the grain of your wood.maybe it could help
as for grappa well ive grapped a few in my time but ive never drunk the stuff. also believe vittoria is in brazil, as was once a destination before change of sailing directions.
but there is a brazil bouy in the mersey channel if thats anygood to you.

Re: Denis O'Shea
#25 Vittoria was in Brazil Cappy and if you managed to get ashore there you would still be suffering from whatever ailment was around at the time , was one of the better trips. You may not have got your 6 hours overtime that day. Cheers JS

Re: Denis O'Shea
No unless it was the Manchester ship canal . It was one of the longer 6 week trips. Probably went back to Cardiff did you ? May of even seen a rugby match on your return. A lot of people called it Victoria , Vittoria was the Brazilian way to spell it . Similar to Seven Islands the correct way was Sept Isles , bloody French again .Cheers JS....
