    Hi Charlie, when did you sail the Flaminian? I did 7/7/72 to 25/8/72! Liverpool to liverpool. A short trip and i can't remember where it went! I'm from Kirkby btw.

    Alan i did just the one trip,1960, all the medi ports. Returned docked in Liverpool a few days before the 60s strike, joined the Empress of France the Monday after strike was over. Cheers.

    Hi Alan, I was on two of your old ships but a good few years before you. I coasted the Ixion and did two Aussie trips on the Neleus in 1955/56. Happy days.

    They may have been earlier versions of the ones I sailed in!

    No Alan, same ships. IXION built 1951 scrapped 1972. NELEUS built 1953 sold 1971.

    allan .my name is jimmy gallagher ,i was on the flaminian for two trips.15 1 57.to 6 3 57,also 15 3 57,to,10 5 57, also on the grecian 24 5 57.
    to 3 7 57.historian ,11 12 62,also the sicilian trips. ending 24 3 63,the flaminian was myfirst deep sea trip and i was asleep with my pay l i couldnt prove any of it ff on my desk it was stolen by i believe was a scots a b. i stayed on the ship a couple of days, he was missing for two days and came back out of skull . , the bosun paid my train fare home,a great guy dont know if you remember him.always wore a beret. maybe someone may remember me and get in touch,all the best jimmy gallagher by the way a lot of scousers sailed with me.great guys also at the vindi in 1956 discharge number R648566 cheers jimmy
