Hello Terry

I was with Bibby Line the same time as you were also as Purser/Catering Officer. I am pretty sure our paths must have crossed somewhere along the line. Maybe it was at one of those seminars that Bibbys were particularly fond of. There are a number of ex Bibby personnel on this site. I left them in 1976 as I was offered a job with Townsend Thorenson.

Hi Terry. Davey (DJ) Smith here; Time served Deck Cadet with Bibby's 1969-1972. Derbyshire,Staffordshire,Shropshire,Worcestershire ,Dart America,then to greener pastures......
Pursers I sailed with were: Dave Miley,John Turner,John Capes (Assistant P.),Jack Traynor,John Pine and James Brain.
(All those names sound like crew members off the 'Bounty' !)
