Vernon those two dates stick in my mind in 1986 I was scrabbling around for work and finished up as mate on a couple of Yugoslav ships, they were that good I cant even remember the names of them. Was a hard time for seafarers in general. Maybe Tony found himself in that position and decided taking the course of the lesser of the two evils. Gather 2002 was the year he went on to an old age pension the same as myself. Maybe totally wrong and maybe he won the Lotto. Anyhow whenever I see dates I through force of habit cast myself back to those times. What one may call a vivid imagination. Regards to you both Vernon and Tony. JS

Yes I can concur with your thoughts on certain dates, there are many dates that when I see them bring back some good and some bad memories!
The mind is a wonder of many things! How great was the Creator!

Especially pink elephants, for some who indulged more than others and coming out of their cups. Did Marian ever discover the term in their or in my cups meant. There should always be a teaspoon there to be able to stir it. Cheers JS
