    g,day ivan,thanks for your comments,being very new to computers things take a little longer than norm,getting it slowly,wil try to put some memorys
    down,have to be careful could endup getting sent back to uk,just joking.i spent 20 years in the royal australian airforce (marine section),so dont want to mix the yarns up,ex raafies closer than old ship mates.talk again john(nickname teapot)

    Hi John, I did a couple of trips the year before you on the Anatolian , I see in my book that it list place of join and payoff as Poplar , dont remember where that is . I was asst stwd on her .

    hi john
    just a short line to say i sailed on the sugar carrier and the southern prince but in 69 i was 2nd cook on both. i think the chief cook on the carrier was callled docherty and on the souther prince albert ping hu a london chinese
