Hi Richie, Cant make the Vindi in August, due to medical problems, and a pending operation.
You will have to get Daley to buy your ale, if you can squeese the money out of his wallet.
    Be there next year.
    Cheers
    Brian.

    Thanks for that Richie,
It is the first time I have missed since the first one 19 years ago..
I have severe gall stones as well as a busted knee which is the leg I use for driving, it is the Clutch leg so it is agony pressing the peddle up and down. I dont want to have a severe attack of the gall stones in my tent on the field,
My son , a Consultant, advised me not to go, he says I need to have the gall bladder taken out.
So hope to be fit and healthy for next year.
I am just about to give Daley a phone call
    Cheers
    Brian.

Brian, I had trouble with my spine some years ago and found working the clutch on 30,000 miles a year caused me a lot of pain; my doctor advised me to change to an automatic, which I did, changed my life completely for the better, as no strain on the spine juggling two pedals. Also a godsend when i was 22 months in plaster and not having to change gear.

If finances allow, it's something to think about.

    Cheers Ivan

I have thought about it, Ivan, every time I get the pains. I curse for not having one, My last car was a Volvo Estate automatic, It went on its own , a lovely car , I had it for 14 years and then it blew up after 265,000 miles.
This one is a KIA Carens. No contest.
    Cheers
    Brian.
