Looking for Birth Father
I hope this is appropriate but I am looking for my Birth Father Robert Moffatt, who served on the Merchant Ship Hinakura between England and New Zealand 1967 - 1969 and was the Chief Electrician who lived in Laburnum Roa&d Scotland.
Any info would be greatly appreciated
Cheers Paul

Re: Looking for Birth Father
Just a thought
Does your birth father know about you
Are you sure he will want to be found
I know it may be vitally important to the seeker
But it may (or may not) be very disruptive to those being sought
No doubt you have considered this for the sake of those who kindly help

As there are several Laburnum Road's in and around Scotland, would you have an inkling in which particular area. Also do you know your father's birth year? It doesn't have to be exact as I'll allow 5-10yrs either way.
Around 1940 he was 28 in 1969

Re: Looking for Birth Father
Yes my birth mother did inform him but he never returned from Scotland, I am very mindful of others and I no way would wish to disrupt anyone's lives just seeking info as my kids have been doing a family tree during lock down here and would love to give them some more about there background.
Thank you for being concerned tho
