J McNamara MV Harcliff
I am trying to locate an old shipmate from 1961 who I sailed with on the Harcliff.
His name was John McNamara. He was an Irishman from Cork and I know that his previous ship was the " Irish Larch"
Any replies would be much appreciated.

Re: J McNamara MV Harcliff
Hello Paul
As you have got that Crew List now (well I hope so) then on that it will give the last Address recorded for John McNamara, now again a long shot but possibly there is a way to try trace him from that?? I had a similar problem quite some time ago,and wrote to the address given,to be surprised at the nice reply which after a search on the reply found my Friend so who knows!??
Cheers and best of British as they say! LOL
Would you know anyone here?? Some Irish Larch Crew

Re: J McNamara MV Harcliff
Possibly also worth a letter to a few editors ?
The one I have used most is the Southern Star.
The Southern Star is a family owned, progressive local
newspaper company covering West Cork and the surrounding areas.

One of my own inputs in the Cork press below and they have several
papers Cork way, suggest something for the letters page, hope this is of help.

Fingers crossed.

the Southern Star, now retired. Will at least find out some other best
