Knew a Bill Jamieson late 70s or early 80s, he was an engineer, if remember correctly however he came from Stonehaven just south of Aberdeen. Believe his father had a pub there. Think he was single then and remember the name because he was telling me one time how his dog was sick and incurable and he took it out and shot it himself, said he didn’t want anyone else to do it for him. He was pretty upset but that’s the type of bloke he was. Cheers JWS.

Hi John. Bill Jamieson. If it is the same one I'am thinking of was ex RN. He had a large tattoo on his back of "King Billy" after a night on the town in Singapore.
