    I got a Phone Call,at 5pm today off Tom Kirbys wife to tell me one of our Crew (Tom) had passed away this Morning.He had very I'll for a few years.R.I.P. Tom Kirby.From Ken R634898.

    Great memories of the Clewes. How things have changed. The shore bosun would not just be laughing all the way to the bank, she would be having hysterics thinking of all the money she could make from sailors just touching her girls,, and not an abortion or paternity case in sight.

    Remember the shore bosun,
    She was a tough old broad.
    Mentioned in a previous post.
    She broke a cadet's legs for him.
    He had beaten up her son.
    Not one to mess with.
    I got along well with her.
    Maybe cause I kept buying her pints.
    Anything to stay healthy.
