    Default Neil's visit

Just had a visit from our shipmate Neil Morton fromNeil, Ron and me..JPG Australia.
He brought along a friend who he had sailed with back in the day.
An enjoyable evening was had by all.
My daughter Sara provided a dinner, and shared her Birthday cake with us.
There was much swinging the lamp, and a few bevvies were downed.

G'day to all members old and new ; yes I finally sailed out of the doldrums . My old friend and ancient mariner Ron Smith invited me to visit his home on Pender Island Brit. Columbia which is off the coast near Vancouver . Whist there we took a ferry to Vancouver Island to meet up with Den who treated us right royally. Den's lovely daughter provided an excellent meal and we gave Den's grog locker a fair old nudge. The above pic is of us just after arrival, I note the one of us just about to leave , "hic hic ", is not shown . Cheers to all Neil.
