A Complete Shock
Well awoke this Morning to this sad News, and although he was not one of my all time Favourites, he was i must admit one of Australia's best if not Greatest ever Spin Bowler that i can recall.
I was shocked as he always looked quite fit and was only 52, a very young age to be taken away!
So my Sincere Condolences to all his Family , Friend and Fans , it will be a long time coming before we see another Spinner like him i feel.
Rest in Peace Shane!!

Re: A Complete Shock
Hi Vernon
Just saw it on the news, they said he was taking fitness lessons to get back in shape, looks like he overdid it a bit to quickly.
I used to enjoy watching him do his flippers. And right after Rod Marsh passing away.

Rodney (Baccus) marsh one day Warnie the next, wonder about Sunday??
Great players who gave so much to the sport ending out the same way, both very young by todays standards.
He is to be given a state funeral here in Melbourne.
Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.

Very sad , but life still goes on, the gay Mardi Gras even for all the rain Sydney has had and expects is still to go ahead. Think I will give that one a miss. JS
