Just my opinion but that looks like something out of a Hollywood film set, Ghost Busters??. Why the poppy??I certainly have every respect for the poppy but if anything it should have been NHS logo on the ground. It was the NHS that Sir Tom walked for, Not the British legion.
Regardless of the family wishes the Media will turn this into a circus.
Just let the family have a quiet day as they have requested , leave them to lay there Father & Grandfather to rest in peace. No doubt somewhere on that hearse it will say ART WORK by Biggles.

'Why the Poppy'...Why Not? Captain Sir Tom Moore raised over £32,000,000 as you know for the NHS in his last year. He served in WW2 for almost six as a British Army Officer. He also organised the 8th Battalion's annual reunion for sixty four years, the longest continual annual reunion in the Duke of Wellington Regiment, he was more than entitled to have a Poppy displayed.

A final farewell:

CAPTAIN Tom Moore's funeral has seen flags flown at half-mast across the nation,
a ceremonial firing party, and a flypast by the RAF in his honour.
