I have seen him live several times in Blackpool, Fleetwood and Bolton.
His show started at 8pm and he would not let us out until nearly 2 am. incredible shows, No one else can do that.

My mum inlaw used to work in the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton. She said he was a lovely man. We got tickets years ago through Margie mum inlaw, they were like gold dust and his shows were always a sellout. He bounced onto the stage and the first thing he says was hope you are not in a hurry home, as Brian says you were in for the night, think we got home about 1.30 am.

Sadly with PC now being what it is the likes of him will never be seen again.
So many good comedians now either gone or banished by PC.

He had the last laugh at the tax man, He married his girl friend of 40 years two days before he died to keep his millions out of their grasping hands.

If my memory is right I don't think I ever heard him tell a joke with a bad word in it and although I didn't always get his humour anybody you can keep it clean when's my vote
