Re: sads news
My brother, an ex Seaman and Coal Miner, bigger than me got Dementia three years ago, his Evil wife has him locked up in a "care" home, three floors up, no windows, just sat staring at the bulkhead all day, no stimulation of any kind, She had all his family, sisters, brothers, sons, banned from seeing him,
We had every legal advice, social services, CQC etc, but to no avail, I managed to get in two weeks ago, new staff from Poland, so I used a different name when I signed the book, he was just a skeleton curled up in a chair, no response. A dog would have been put to sleep.
What a sad end to a life. so I understand Cappy.
Brian.

Re: sads news
Cappy just read your post and very sad to hear, regards to Pat and yourself, these things do happen and everyone on here will have had similar experiences as you are now going through. Remember him as he used to be that is the best tribute you can give him. He would have known in himself the state of health he was in most ill people do. There are many ways people die but by your account there are better ways to go. Our commiserations to yourself and family. Gwen and John
