I for one cannot understand why a 'pop star' has been prominent leading news on the BBC and other news channels for two days now when there are more important events taking place around the world, or the hysteria being witnessed on the TV for this pop star. We should mention, Mr Ken Dodd. For me the best comedian that ever appeared on a stage. He was born in Thomas Lane Knotty Ash and still resides there.
