Can anyone identify the logo on ice bucket?
Hi all,
Happy New Year to you all and let's hope 2021 is a vast improvement on the terrible year just passed.
I'm hoping someone may be able to identify the logo on the Ice Bucket in the photo's attached. The picture was taken in 1955, and is of my parents when they first met (or thereabouts!). My father was a MN Deck Officer on the Dominion Monarch in the mid 50's and my mother met him when she got a job onboard the DM as a hairdresser. I have no idea where this was taken, but hoping the logo might shed some light.
Cheers,
Brett

Lewis I agree with you in as much as the writing appears to be Arabic, but why would any Islamic company advertise on such a thing as a wine bucket ??. It would get the company noticed, but for all the wrong reasons.

I have a whiskey jug presented by the Hudson Bay company with an insignia on , but at the moment cannot find to see what was on that . Have the whiskey bottle so wasn’t too concerned about it but will have a look if it turns up.
