Yes merchant seaman have always been dispensable and almost invisible. When the war ended they were forgotten about again.

Louis by any stretch of imagination it is i would say equivelent to the american purple heart ...given to armed forces for injury .......wonder what a purple heart in america can be bought for ....cappy
