    Interested to know what the waiters wore, were they glammed up or just trad black and white ?

    Keith on some liners they had more braid and colours than a South American General

    Think it was Federal. Line , that didn’t wear braid on the sleeve., but in epaulettes form on the shoulder of the jacket. JS

    I saw that big white X on a cruise liner on a floating dry dock here in San Francisco about 20 years ago. Think the funnel was a dark blue and situated way aft. Is that Chandris Line ? ( forgive spelling) Probably Greek flag. Photo looked 1960’s. Cheers !
