WE donate used good quality items, clothing and other, to the local Op shop.
It has to be one of the busiest shops in town.
Run by the local church with all monies raised going to charities, all the staff there are volunteers.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

I started going to op shops 40 odd years ago when we were on one wage in Perth WA and had a $1200 plumbing bill. Wasn't talked about then nowadays they run op shop "tours" down here taking all day to visit all the shops in a given area, very popular.
I only got caught out once when I was told the beanie I had on my son was at odds with his jumper. Apparently the colours were for opposing football teams. The guy who told me asked me to decide who I was barracking for!!!
