    I was a carpenter MV Salvena November 1965 till July 1966 is any of the old crew still about? Would like to hear from you .My name is Donald Macmillan now staying in Fort William Scotland.

    Did you know , or may have been before your time ,a master or mate by the name of McCoughlin , he was working mate on the Southern Harvester, and master on their transport ships running down to South Georgia.wrote a book The Deep South all about the whaling industry, and later wrote a lot of novels with a seagoing background. JS
    PS. Do they still keep the deep de-compression chambers in Fort William ? Cheers JS.
