Oh yes us down here in Oz are up to all sorts to catch you out.
Last August I stopped using money, all card only or direct debit now so no worry about springs or roundabouts think about it.
No more moths in the wallet either.
Happy daze John in Oz.

I do the same, it's either payment by card or DD except for the pub which is ca ssh only, I think they've lost money through dodgy cards before and banned them,
they do nice pub grub, so we stick with them.
Get up to all sorts to catch us out you say, Oh yes, indeed you do, I've seen it for myself when we played the Ashes series, what a dastardly thing to do Lol. cheers

Re: Hello evryone I'm new to the site
Hi its me again.
Just tried to post another image with no problem, although I didn't submit in the end. Ok to chose category and file name but then to add text in the box below...........no chance.
I copied the text from my laptop and went to paste the text but got the message "Your browser doesn't support direct access to the clipboard. Please use the Ctl+X/C/V keyboard shortcut. Tried that and all I got in the text box was lots of xcv's What the heck am I doing wrong.? why is it so difficult, all it needs is to copy and paste in the text box. HELP>

Re: Hello evryone I'm new to the site
Hello Stuart
A wee bit confusing i must say, and sorry if its hard for you at this time .
Now as for the problems you are having.
Firstly please note that to insert a Pic, you just follow the Link i gave earlier on, however that does not accept Text , so this is where you have the prob.
Normally if Text is required as you say its nice to have what the Pic is about, then you will have to first go to a Program that you can Edit the Pic and add Text, such as free Irfranview. Once done save it and then use it on site , this way there will be no issues!
Otherwise like i have done here, At the stage you have inserted the Pic, before Submitting write up what you wish to add in Text then Save.
If you have some long Text that you dont want to Write up, then at this point you can copy and paste to the added Picture as well.
Cheers City Hall Hotel Cape Town 1956
Secondly the other way is to Submit it to the Gallery , where you can add Text there!
Hope this may help

Hi John
The City Hall Hotel was on the Corner of Darling and Plein Streets almost opposite the big Parade Grounds and the old Post Office Building. We used to sit up on the Balcony and watch the World go by!
In the days it was also a very popular Hotel for Seaman, may of the Ladies of the Night used to be there . LOL But a great place it was, always lots of Fun and Games, you know what i mean! LOL cHEERS
Here is the Cape Town City Hall, with The Old Mutual Building, and the City Hall Hotel just this side of the old Mutual.the Low Building you can jus see the Balcony, and opposite is the Big Post Office Building, with the Parade Grounds (Where the Trees are)
