    Maybe the spelling is wrong?

Should be Brocklebank - not Brockelbank!

    regards,

Am I the only Brocklebank salior about.
    Surely not.
Come on lads Charley ball will turn in the old grave.

Or even Mr Fraser in the office who would send you a reply to your letter with more staements like "However we will enderver" and" We fail to understand" so it was a waste of time writting.

    Default Brocklebank wallers

No Ron, you aint on your own, You are right about Carlie Ball I sailed with him ( I'll have to check my discharge book !! ) I was in Brocks from 62 to 66 as a junior engineer and was very happy. When I got my 2nds ticket I couldn't get a promotion so I went up the ship canal and joined Manchester Liners. Do you remember Charlie Drought who was later on the Atlantic conveyor ? Then there was Phil Roe and the Chief Eng Mc Callum? My memory is shot these days.
    Regards Kevin

    Hi Mike,
Just spotted your message, I haven't been on this section lately. We probably haven't met as you say but that was good news about Phil anyway. I don't know about Charlie, he will be getting on now if he is still with us, but Phil lives near York. Where are you esconced ?
    Cheers
    Kevin

Default Anyone around that knew my Dad?

    Hi All,

My father, William John (Bill) Morris sailed with the Brocklebank line, particularly in WW2, and was one of a crew that was torpedoed whilst on the Fort Camosun, out of Canada en-route for England.

If anyone knew him, or of him, I'd appreciate them getting in touch, as I'd love to find out as much as I can about him. He passed on, 13 June 1979, and was a very private man, not inclined to discuss his service..

    Thanks in advance..
