BP paid out very good redundancy payments. I know masters etc!(service years dependant) got up to £100k and there pensions made up as well, sailed with a couple. Hopefully you got a few quid.

I was with BP for only 10 years, but I can't complain the money was good for 1986 I draw my meager pension in 2002 at 50 with a lump sum.
