Did maiden voyage on British Hawtorn late 64, greta ship, single accomodation, good crew, and a cuckoo as ships cook. All he wanted to do was sell his knives for beer money. We lived on steamed food when in port, bloody awful. I will never forget the tinned sausages, made for steaming, triangular in shape and taste.

Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.

Hi
My tankers were British Justice, British Soldier, returned to British Justice. Thence British Ambassador, British Judge, British Spledour, British Signal and finally the maiden voyage from Belfast of the British Lancer. All in the early 1960's.

THank for response. Don't recognise or remember the name. I was a deck apprentice with BP and on Aviator Nov 1958 to July 1959
I will check my old notes (when I can find them). My home and most of my possessions is Sydney Aus but have been working a consultancy in Darwin for the past 4 years and not back until Nov 1st.
Will stay in touch
