Hi All
Was on a few BP Tankers
BR Venture '65
BR Judge '65
BR Patrol '65 Twice.
BR Vine '68
BRITISH PATROL was a great ship built circa early '50s or even before, old for a tanker I know but the Mates and crew were really good blokes, it was a Product carrier running between Grain & Scandinavia. NO BULL**** from officers everyone had a great time and got a run ashore every few days;);):D HAPPY DAYS.
Kind regards to all. Graham

Btitish Tankers.
Hi Graham.
I also had a fair run on British Tankers, all in the fifties, apart from
one the" Duke",they werent bad ships on the whole, single berth
cabin to start, and being in catering, plenty of food.A couple of them
changed their name to "Clyde",and then reverted back to "British"
British Pioneer later became Clyde Pioneer.
British Resource'
British Envoy later became Clyde Envoy.
British Duke.
British Hero.
Ivegot a lump in my throat, thinking about all the good times,Wish I could
do it all over again.
