    Hated tankers was only on the one - no time ashore - afternoon in Norway

    hi dave was on the british grenadier same time joined as first trip cat/boy along with a other lad called dave joined at loch fyne first trip and ending up the gulf though it was sweden we went to then back up the gulf payed off in williamshaven germany see u wer on the scotia was on her to joined the 9th dec 1968 cant remember wen i payed off we ended up in drydock in manitowoc my last trip on her was also on the dukesgarth old grey matter not working for that date

    hi dave do u remember the gallyboy that got burnt when a pot of soup fell on him that was me and the ab from glasgow that got hit with the lifeboat on boatdrill and ended up straddling the rail

    Dont remember that.
    Do remember that some of us tried to get a plate of cargo oil to light
    but could not get it to light.

    Remember the mad Bosun going into the empty tanks without a line or breathing equipment.

    dont remember that dave do u remember the old pumpman that stayed on the ship for a yr at a time trying to remember if there was a deckboy on board as i remember me an the other catering boy dave being mates with a junior deck rating well was mates with dave till i got pulled of him in the galley trying to do him in
