Hi. Shipmates..joined the Ruysdail.bolton .s.c.belfast 1963.6 months. East coast South America. Up the river plate .with prize bulls .Crew.. Irish. Scotch .English÷÷÷ Georgia's. Good times good memories. Oh Captain siddle..cheers.

Sailed on this ship think it was about 67/68.Captain Porter was a good skipper, chartered to Clan line.Middle East and India and Ceylon,had a few experiences on that trip.We played a Russian ship at football in Calcutta,they beat us easy.Then took us back to their ship for a meal and a drink.Thought we would get a load of propaganda, but it was complete opposite.Good food plenty of drink,and air condition which the Ruysdael never had.They had better conditions than we had
