BSL Ships I was on
Sydney Star 25/02/65 to 24/07/65. Paraquay Star 26/08/66 to 17/12/66. Adelaide Star 10/02/67 to 25/06/67, & again 19/12/68 to 06/11/69. Melbourne Star 08/02/68 to 20/07/68. Canberra Star 16/01/70 to 11/03/71. Australia Star 05/07/71 to 05/07/72. Brasil Star to the breakers auturm 1972. New Zealand Star 31/10/72 Paid off in Napier with a broken shoulder 22/12/72. Southland Star 05/03/73 to 15/03/74, & 05/01/78 to 09/05/78 when she was converted to a container ship (shame). Fremantle Star 12/05/74 to 01/07/77. Avila Star 10/07/77 to 23/11/77. A few more Bsl's were HT's & run jobs. I really enjoyed my time at sea, not the same now, is it?

Hello Del,
Reading the ships list you were on I wonder if during your time on Fremantle Star you sailed with Chief Engineer Bill Luney from Edinburgh. He was C/E on Montreal Star in 75 and mentioned the Fremantle Star quite alot.
