Re: Bibby Line Reunion
Michael Bibby in the Sunday times this morning. Reduced in stature and described as a shopkeeper. Which of course he is not.

Re: Bibby Line Reunion
Exactly! The fact that his interest in ships is minimal if at all, I deplore the way the press handle certain articles. We all know of Sainsbury's designs on Costcutter etc and Bibby's interest in same but did the author stretch themselves that little further to look at the man's heritage?

Re: Bibby Line Reunion
sorry to correct you, but you don't have to join facebook - I'm not on it.
All Dave and the committee need is an email address so they can send over details.
FB was just a means of reaching the max number of people.
I will find out the reunion email address and post it here tomorrow.

The email address for information on the reunion is bibbyseafarers@gmail.com - there is definitely no need to be a member of facebook.
