Franky Lyke, B/L Engineer
Hi all,
My brother (since deceased) served many years on tankers with Ben Line.
Just wondering if anybody remembers him at all?
If alive today he would be about 64. I do remember he did some training at Leith & Glasgow nautical college's.
His carrer ended as chief engineer.
I still have the news paper cutting from an incident at Yokohama when he was responsible for crashing a Ben ship into a newly buit pier, if anybody remembers that.
Cheers! Michael

G'day Tonyjones and welcome to the site. Do you have a list of the ships you sailed on maybe with some dates? If you do and care to list them you may wel get to hear from some who knew you. So sit back with a cold one and enjoy the voyage.
